Havaianas Filipinas 2015

Havaianas teamed up with three great Filipino designers who's known for their lettering and illustrations. This year's Havaianas Filipinas collection focuses on DIY or arts and crafts which gives that youthful and energetic vibe to our favorite flip-flops. The collection includes three designs - “Laro," "Lakbay," and "Lasap,” which highlights the rich Filipino culture.
"Lasap", by Alessa Lanot, focuses on the all-time favorite 'sorbetes' in which we can also associate to our county's warm and tropical weather. The design is elegant and would remind of us of the little things that makes us happy. Abbey Sy's "Lakbay" incorporates the artist's travel diaries and lettering style. This pair inspires everyone to get on their feet and start discovering the world.
Patrick Cabral's "Laro" reminds me of the days I got to enjoy patintero, piko, agawan base, jack stone, and habulan. The design is playful and childlike which reminds us to always have fun!
Show your Filipino pride with this year's ‪#‎HavaianasFilipinas2015‬ collection! What's your favorite design?

  1. Your inputs are okay. However, you need to awaken your inner sense of value in each and every statement. If I would be a dumb net-reader, I'd find your blog to be much more of a try-hard sales pitch of these flip flops.
